What is Small Business Power?

This is not a site or an idea that is about bashing big business, in fact it is the exact opposite. Large corporations and small business need each other to survive. Small Business Power is about small business owners stepping up and telling the world that they are proud to be a small business and to publicize the role that small business plays in the community and the economy.

As small business owners I feel that we need to unite and promote the fact that collectively there are well over one million of us in Australia alone. We need to put a sign on the window saying that we are a small business and we need to ask consumers to look for that sign and support us.

Small Business Power is the brand that can unite us all. It can become a symbol of all that being a small business owner encompasses. It is free to use, there is no commercial benefit going to anyone and we really do have a lot of power. Being small is incredibly big and we need to let people know that supporting us is supporting their community. If we do this I believe they will.
